Jessi Millage, COS
Mrs. Millage has been employed with Yost Management since January 2011 and is a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS) through The National Center for Housing Management. She has specialized training from the Illinois Housing Development Authority in Asset Management and Tax Credit Compliance.
Mrs. Millage runs the day-to-day business office at Cougill Senior Apartments and Highland Place Apartments in Charleston, Illinois and overseas all the compliance for Yost Management's tax credit properties.
Mrs. Millage is a lifelong resident of Charleston where she graduated from Charleston High School and attended Lake Land College. Mrs. Millage is a member of the Charleston Area Chamber of Commerce.
Affordable housing developer and US Navy Veteran. Mr. Yost served four years earning Sailor of the Year twice for his command and two time runner up Blue Jacket of the Year for Navy Region Midwest. While serving on active duty Jeremy completed his Bachelors Degree in Management through the University of Phoenix.
Mr. Yost continued his education and attended the graduate school of technology at Eastern Illinois University. Mr. Yost began working with his father in 2009 serving as his Vice President of Operations.
Mr. Yost believes that the joy in life is giving and is something that he has grown up believing and seeing his father live that same motto. Mr. Yost currently serves on the board of directors for Illinois Affordable Housing, NFP, Eastern Illinois University Panther Club Executive Board & was recently the Chair of Fundraising for EIU Athletics, Charleston Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Director, Illinois Housing Council Board of Director, American Legion Post 93 Member & former American Legion Post 93 Fianance Officer, and a Master Mason at Masonic Ledge #35 in Charleston, Illinois.
Some of Mr. Yost's accomplishments are EIU Panther Club's Rookie of the Year for fundraising, Biggest Catch for EIU fundraising (twice), and Coles County Council on Aging Partner of the Year.
Jeremy lives in Charleston, Illinois and has two children.
Affordable housing developer and US Army Veteran; served a long and distinguished career in public service for local government and the State of Illinois (30 years) holding Administrative positions under six governors culminating in a six year appointment by Governor Jim Edgar to the Illinois Prisoner Review Board in1995.
Mr. Yost was appointed to the Eastern Illinois University Board of Trustees in 2004 (six year term). He has served as vice chairman of the Board of Trustees for one year. Mr. Yost graduated from EIU with a bachelors of arts. Mr. Yost also received the "Glen Hesler" distinguished service award from EIU athletics. Mr. Yost is also the former Business Manager-Treasurer at Carbondale Community High School District #165. Mr. Yost served on the "Illinois Association of School Business Officials State Board" for one two year term representing all School Business Officials in Southern Illinois.
Mr. Yost has been a tireless advocate for higher education in the Mattoon/Charleston area serving on the Lake Land College Foundation, The Charleston Excellence in Education Foundation as President and charter member. Mr. Yost served on the Coles Together Economic Development Board for three years and is a former Vice-chairman of that board. Mr. Yost is a member and former board member of the Charleston Area Chamber of Commerce. In 1994 Mr. Yost received the "BESI" award as an outstanding Businessman in the eight county areas. Mr. Yost formally owned and operated Stix Sports Bar, Restaurant, and Banquet Facility for 17 years in Charleston, Illinois.
In addition to Mr. Yost's public service activities, he has been heavily involved in developing and managing affordable housing projects, for the people of Northwest, Central, and Southern Illinois. He is the President and CEO of Illinois Affordable Housing, NFP and Yost Management Company, LLC. Mr. Yost was inducted into the Eastern Illinois University Hall of Fame in 1999. He was inducted as a "Friend of the University" because he was one of the athletic department's most supportive individuals and a civic leader in Charleston since opening Stix. As a "friend of athletics" he sponsored post-game parties, weekly football/basketball luncheons, provided the restaurant for annual Panther Club "Super Bowl" party, and major contributor to the Panther Club.
Mr. Yost resides in The Villages, Florida with his wife Denice.
